While Madame Gourmand is not new to the blogging scene she did recently move over to Wordpress and then lost GFC. So she has lost a lot of her previous followers who weren't able to catch up with her in time therefore let's hear a little about her from the lady herself.
I spend more than I wish to admit on beauty products each month, some get one try and straight in the bin as they are not suitable for my skin. I suffer from sensitive skin and eczema which often makes it difficult for me to find products that my skin likes especially if a brand does not offer samples first.
Beauty and fashion are my passion! I’m still trying to find those special products that keep me looking like a princess! As I’m getting older (32) my styles and tastes have changed and so has my skin and body shape!
Mr Gourmand would describe me as a Jewish Princess! I don’t actually meet the stereotype it’s mainly because I’m Jewish and like to be pampered!
I’m a qualified Complementary Therapist and psychotherapist. I trained as a Silversmith in conjunction with Sunderland University and spent 3 years running a successful Jewellery business before returning to education. I spent 10 years working as a product reviewer and mystery auditor which prompted me to start this blog.
I have a varied education, my first degree was in Natural Science, I then completed an HNC in design and innovation, A diploma in fashion design and continued back to science with a Diploma in Clinical Science. I now study Biomedical Sciences at Northumbria University.
I like to write about food, fashion, beauty, and books.
You can find Madame Gourmand not only on her lifestyle blog linked above but on her food blog here.
