Who's up for a trip to Holland?

L-R, I Have a Herring Problem, Red Lights Ahead.. Where? Kiss Me on My Tulips, Pedal Faster Suzi!
Unfortunately I have been unable to do proper manicures to show these pretty colours off as I've run out of polish remover (shocking) so I've resorted to swatching on a art ring, the middle colours were two coats, the end colours were three coats each.
* I Have a Herring Problem is a steel blue flecked with tiny silver sparkles. A lovely colour I cant wait to wear, more work friendly and subdued than the others.
* Red Lights Ahead... Where? Is an orange based red, neither a true red nor an orange. It made me think Coral, but it's not quite a coral colour either. I like it and its extreme glossiness.
* Kiss Me on My Tulips is a bright pink not all to different from OPI's Thats Hot! Pink.
* Pedal Faster Suzi! Is a soft almost baby pink, tinged with the slightest hint of grey along with a delicate touch of silver shimmer.
The only slight problem I have with this set is as with all minis, the brush is tiny and my nails are quite broad, but I can over look that as I am loving all of these colours.
I can't wait to wear 'I have a herring problem' my daughter promptly swooped in on the pinks :)
ReplyDeleteI think the red light may be relegated to toes/under glitters if I'm honest. Decent collection all in all. Would have been over the moon if one of the pinks had been replaced with 'Vampsterdam' though XD
I wanted to pick up Kiss Me on My Tulips when I last went to Sallys...unfortunately it had sold out :( Pedal Faster Suzi is gorgeous too! xx

ReplyDeleteI think both Red lights ahead and Kiss me on my tulips are easily duped using other opi colours, they are nothing new. But I do like I have a herring problem and Pedal faster Suzi. Even if I find the names a bit of a mouthful.

I bought the minis too. I'm loving this collection! I'm wearing Red Lights Ahead on my toes and in my NOTD a few days ago I was wearing Pedal Faster Suzi! I think I'll wear Tulips or Herring next but waiting for my nails to grow a bit first (ruined by gardening without wearing gloves). I love your swatches hon. Karen www.balmainbeauty.com
