Apivita (Part 4) Haircare + Face Cream

Continuing the low down on the range of Apivita products sent to me to try out I've got the shampoo, conditioner and day cream.
Volumising Shampoo

Cinchona and vitamins revitalize and invigorate toneless hair leaving it with volume and vitality
Trace elements and vitamins strengthen hair from roots to ends
Green tea extract offers strong antioxidant action
Bio Cotton Protection System (cotton+oligosaccharide+arginine), an exclusive innovation of APIVITA laboratories, works to strengthen hair texture and improves elasticity, forming a protective shield against environmental damage.

Free of: Parabens, Silicones, Mineral oil, Propylene glycol, Ethanolamines, Colorants, Phthalates, Polycyclic musks and Nitromusks.

The shampoo is thick, clear and quite viscous, thicker than a lot of other shampoo's I've used recently. But fear not, once rubbed into wet hair it lathers up amazingly well for something that doesn't contain any of the usual foaming agents. It smells divine, a mix of citrus and honey in a perfect combination and left my hair feeling clean and soft.

Softening Conditioner

Containing chamomile and honey, and free from parabens, mineral oil, propylene glycol, ethanolamines, colorants, phthalates, polycyclic musks and nitromusks.

Another thick product this looks like creamy honey and smells like it as well, with a touch of chamomile in. Which for me is a good thing as I'm not hugely keen on the smell of chamomile. But luckily the honey sweetens the scent making it truly scrumptious.

I've apply this practically daily because colouring my hair is starting to dry the ends out a lot, and I do notice the difference between days when I don't use the conditioner and days I do. When I've used it my hair feels like smooth silk all day, when I haven't used it my hair feels straw like and knots easily.
The last thing I've got to talk about today is the Aqua Vita 24hr Moisturizing Cream for Oily/Combination Skin SPF 10.

Chaste tree increases moisture and firms the skin
Rose helps to moisturize and protect the skin from premature aging, free radicals and environmental pollution
Imperata cylindrica helps to provide and retain deep 24-hour moisture
Propolis regulates oiliness and offers antiseptic action
Enriched with organic geranium essential oil, offers holistic care as it revitalizes both the skin and mood
Protects skin from the sun’s harmful effects and prevents premature aging with SPF 10
Free of: Parabens, Silicones, Propylene Glycol, Mineral Oil, Phtalates and Ethanolomine.

The first thing I noticed and approved of is that the cream comes in a bottle with a pump action dispenser, so much better for hygiene. It is quite a thick, white cream but really the tiniest amount is needed to do your whole face. Like the rest of the Apivita products it is fresh smelling and it sinks into the skin really quickly leaving no greasy feel behind.

L-R, Shampoo, Conditioner, Face Cream
I'm really enjoying testing out all these different Apivita products if you want to read more check out my posts about Skincare, Lipcare, and Face Masks.

Yet to come, Bubble Bath and Body Lotion.

  3. Well, it’s good to try some new products like this, because for me washing my face daily is the key way to remove dirt and grime, and often ensures clear skin.
