Four Dior Perfumes

I received this little set of pretties as a gift a few months ago and rejoiced because it meant I could try several scents without having to fork out large sums of money for the big bottles.

What am I talking about? 

Dior Little Luxuries for Woman of course. 

 Containing J'adore 4ml, Hypnotic Poison 5ml, Dior Addict 2 5ml and Miss Dior Cherie 5ml.

 For me J'adore and Miss Dior Cherie are the ones I'd heard the most about, mostly due to their rather noticeable adverts on TV. So I was hoping to love them the most.

But did I?

J'adore contains notes of tangy mandarin, ivy leaves, champaca flower, red orchids, white roses, violets, Damascus plum, amaranth wood and blackberry musk.  

- All of which sound fantastic, but the actual scent is far to sweet for my tastes, very floral, very girly. You'll love it if you love all things pink and flowery, not me at all.

Hypnotic Poison contains bitter almond, caraway, jasmine sambac, moss, jacaranda wood and vanilla musk.  

- A nice scent, musky and soft. Reminds me of the 80s early 90s though when vanilla scents were all the rage. One for your grandparents anniversary party.

Dior Addict 2 with notes of Grapefruit, Orange, White Musk, Grenadine, Freesia, Cedarwood, Lotus Flower, Pineapple, Bergamot, Sandalwood, Lily of the Valley and Watermelon. 

- This one is my favourite and the one I will buy a full sized bottle of. Very fresh and fruity without being to sweet and sickly. It's one I wear to smell girly without losing my edge.

Miss Dior Cherie contains notes of caramel popcorn, jasmine, mandarin, musk, strawberry leaf, violet, wild strawberry sorbet, and patchouli.

 - And strangely enough I can smell the caramel popcorn amongst the other scent notes, in my opinion it smells like an expensive alcoholic cocktail. Nice enough in small doses, but to much for to long and say hello to a headache.

I'm actually glad I never bought Miss Dior Cherie in its full size although I was going to, it is nice, and I will use up the mini but it, to me, is an older womans scent.
