Apivita (Part 1) Face Masks

 About a month ago I received a huge box in the post from Apivita after responding to an email I'd received asking if I was interested in trying their range. I said yes (obviously) expecting them to send me one or two items, well they went above and beyond and I received fifteen items in total to try out.

There is no way I would cover them all in one post so expect a few posts about this brand.

First up a little information on Apivita because previous to my email I too had never heard of them.

So now you know a little about the brand my first post is about the face masks I received.
 
First up the Express Beauty with Green Clay deep cleansing mask.

'Green clay to deeply penetrate the pores to remove excess oil and dirt thus eliminating and preventing blackheads.

Propolis helps to regulate oiliness.

Soothes and rejuvenates with aloe, wheat proteins and lavender essential oils leaving skin smooth and radiant.

Ideal for oily & combination skin'

This mask was lovely to use, one sachet contains enough for at least two uses and it smelt gorgeous, like honey. Like all face masks you apply a layer avoiding the eyes and leave for ten minutes before washing it off. 

 

Because it contains clay this mask did tighten as it dried but not to the point of discomfort as some tend to do. Once washed off, which was easy to do, my skin felt soft but oil free.

 

Next the Express Beauty with Prickly Pear moisturizing and revitalizing face mask.

Wheat germ oil and shea butter leave the skin feeling exceptionally soft and supple

Lavender essential oil soothes irritations and its aromatic properties relax the senses.'

 

I don't have a photo of me wearing this one, but it is a 'wet' mask, it doesn't dry out. And once it has been applied and removed my skin again felt lovely and soft. This mask also smelt nice, although not as nice as the green clay one.

 

It's a little hard for me to say long term benefits of these masks as I only had a few uses out of what I received but as all Apivita products are without;

I think they are more likely to do good than harm.
