Liz Earle Energising Body Scrub-a-dub-dub

I am running behind on some of my reviews, bad me.
But it's only because I want to make sure I've used it and really know the product before I post about it. Which is why its taken me a good few weeks to bring up the last goodie I received from the lovely Liz Earle PR team.

Liz Earle's Engergizing Body Scrub
See all the lovely things in this product, damask rose flower water, sweet orange oil, 8 essential oils, vitamin E and ground olive stones.

And wow does it exfoliate.

As you can see it comes out of the tube as a gel with the olive stones suspended in it, but once you add water it creams up and spreads it's gritty goodness all over, obviously if you prefer your scrubs thick and hard to shift around for an intense exfoliation use less water.

The only thing I'm not 100% keen on is the scent, it is described as refreshing and invigorating and it may just be me, but I felt it smelt more medicinal, not unpleasantly so though. Saying that two of the essential oils used are Eucalyptus and Pine, which always smell medicinal to me.

The product exfoliates super well leaving my skin all soft and glowing, although I would recommend body lotion or an anti cellulite cream (if you use such things) afterwards for extra loving.

Have you tried it?

  1. I've used this before and really liked it, I have to say though no matter how many scrubs I try I always prefer a salt/oil scrub. Jude xx @jadlgw

  3. Haven't tried it but it looks great. I'm always weary of exfoliators cos of my super sensitive skin though.
