According to the back of the bottle rose geranium helps you to relax, linden blossom frees the mind and frankincense soothes and calms.

I don't know if I feel balanced now but the lotion has a very heady but pleasant smell of primarily rose geranium (which doesn't smell like roses do normally in case you're wondering) And the smell lasts for ages.
When the product first comes out of the bottle it seems quite thick in texture but once you start rubbing it in it thins down dramatically into a more lotion style texture.

It does take a good bit of rubbing for the 'whiteness' of the cream to sink into the skin but afterwards you are not left swimming in greasiness, it does absorb quite well.
It's a nice lotion that leaves the skin feeling hydrated and looked after and I now know I'll be looking into purchasing some Cowshed products in the future
Cowsheds philosophy is to create a complete range of honest, natural and therapeutic products, made in England using the best organic and wild crafted plant extracts
That means using organic, wild crafted and fairly traded botanicals from sustainable sources, using the highest quality essential oils they can get their hands on and avoiding the use of preservatives and synthetics.
On top of which, they guarantee:
No Parabens
No Petrochemicals
No Sulphates
No Artificial Colours or Fragrances
No Animal Ingredients (except organic beeswax and wildflower honey)
So it's definitely a company that the natural loving ones amongst us will love.
You can check them out here.
