REVIEW: Lancome Bi-Facil Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover

This award-winning phenomenon gently whisks away all types of eye makeup, even waterproof. Simply shake to activate the bi-phase formula that leaves the eye area perfectly clean. The lipid phase lifts off eye makeup, while the water phase contains special emollients to refresh and condition skin without a greasy residue.

Lifts off all types of eye makeup, even waterproof mascara, while conditioning the skin. Leaves eyes feeling cool and refreshed, with no oily residue.

I’d received two sample bottles (30ml) with a couple of christmas presents this year and decided to use the product recently when my other eye make up remover ran out.

The liquid in the bottle is clearly split into two levels and to mix them up all you have to do is shake, then soak your cotton pad in the mixture to remove any make up/mascara.

The first time I used it I was wearing full on heavy, black/grey eyeshadow (think rock chick look) loads of mascara, even more black eyeliner and wasn’t really looking forward to the cleanse because of the amount of work I thought it would be.

Could I have been more wrong?

One swipe with a cotton pad soaked with Bi-Facil and ALL the eyeshadow on my upper lids vanished… The second swipe took off ALL the eyeshadow/liner from under my eye and a freshly soaked second cotton pad took care of the heavy mascara layers.

As per usual (as I’m very clumsy) I managed to get the product in my eye.. and it did NOT sting even a little bit, my eye didn’t go red, it didn’t tear up and I had no visual problems either.
All together a VERY good experience.
The only (tiny) problem I have is I do find it does leave a greasy feel/layer behind.. but it’s nothing major considering the awesome cleaning power of this product.

Definately one I WILL buy when I need new cleanser for my eyes, it’s not the cheapest at £20 for 125ml, but as so little cleans so well I think it would last a fair while before needing to purchase another.

My Personal Star Rating:

Five out of Five.
